Mark Freeman of Stories Past gave a paper at the Society for Historical Archaeology conference titled: People, Place, Perspective and Period: A Phenomenological Approach to Interpretation on the Web. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth at the SHA conference.

December: Stories Past is working with Rediscovery Software on online exhibits (see December 2007 newsletter). This also means that Stories Past now supports GSA purchasing.

The Children's Museum of Oak Ridge has contracted with Stories Past to create a educational installation focusing on Work and Crafts at an Appalachian cabin. The module will be available at the museum later in 2008.

November: An exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Natural History will soon be available on-line. Three cultures, Three Peoples will appear on the VMNH web site early in 2008, courtesy of Stories Past.

October: The Ohef Sholom Temple in Norfolk Virginia celebrated their one hundred and fiftieth anniversary with an exhibit, prepared by Stories Past. The on-line exhibit integrates text and images with the Virginia SOLs.

July. Stories Past is pleased to announce it will be creating a web site and interactive module for the Virginia's Governor's mansion.

A module for the Southwest Virginia Museum based on the life on C. Bascom Slemp will be available soon on site. A further module will follow on Appalachian coal towns.
